Venntro Media Group Announces Integration with Action Fraud via Scamalytics

Venntro Media Group has announced that its White Label Dating platform now checks all members against known scammers reported by Action Fraud and the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB).

Complementing the other anti-scam techniques White Label Dating employ, the Action Fraud data has reportedly helped Venntro identify hundreds of scammer accounts. The parties involved are now looking to increase the amount of data shared.

The partnership has been announced as part of Action Fraud’s partnership with Scamalytics.

Reports will be taken by Action Fraud and sent on to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB), who will then pass on their intelligence to Scamalytics for loading into their central database.

Venntro will then be able to check their members against the Scamalytics database.

Dan Winchester, CTO of Scamalytics commented on the partnership: “There has long been an appetite from both law enforcement and the dating industry to cooperate more closely on the prevention of fraud, so it is fantastic to finally have this service up and running – and already preventing known scammers from targeting new victims.”

Ross Williams, Founder of Venntro, added: “All dating sites on our platform already benefit from the protection that Scamalytics offers.

“With the collaboration between Action Fraud and Scamalytics, we’re now able to automatically check all registrations against Police data sources on top of our existing anti-scammer measures.”
