GDI London Dating Conference 2017

Our third annual London dating conference brought together the international industry for a day of talks, debate and networking.

The event was held in association with HubPeople, Dating Factory, SecurionPay and Pollen VC.

The one-day conference saw some of the biggest names in the industry tackling the most important questions in online dating, looking at monetisation, product, growth and consolidation.

Running from 10am – 4pm at The Grange, St Paul’s in London, the day included lunch, two coffee breaks and drinks & networking in the bar upstairs after the conference finished at 4pm.

    Chief Product Officer Brian Norgard and his team have turned Tinder into a top 10 grossing app, while also helping to conceive of some of Tinder’s most successful features such as the Super Like, Tinder Boost and forthcoming Likes You.

    Enno Joensson spoke about measuring marketing data.
  • The League
    Amanda Bradford, the Founder & CEO of international exclusive dating startup The League, spoke about PR strategy.
  • Paktor
    Alex Tam from Southeast Asia dating leader Paktor also gave a fascinating talk on key insights from its online-to-offline business.
  • The Meet Group
    Jim Bugden, the SVP of Corporate Development at The Meet Group gave a talk on consolidation in a fragmented landscape.
  • App Annie
    App Annie’s Paul Barnes presented about data being the secret to dating app success.
