  • Single Muslim
    Single Muslim has over 2 million members, and more than 1 in 6 British Muslims have used the site in the past. The marriage-focused platform has gone from strength to strength in the past 12 months, recognised in the 2018 GDI Power Book, and the brand continues to expand successfully following the introduction of a dedicated mobile app.
  • Microsoft
    Microsoft, now valued at over $750 billion, returns for another GDI conference. The firm has expanded its offerings in gaming, business tech, cloud computing and several other areas this year, and LinkedIn continues to serve as a valuable platform for connection amongst professionals and executives worldwide.
  • Once
    The app that values quality over quantity, Once sends its 4 million users a new match everyday. A current market leader in mainland Europe, they recently launched in the USA and hired the former Head of Growth at Tinder as their CMO. The Once ambition is to become a worldwide leader and help everybody meet their soulmates.
  • The Meet Group
    Philadelphia-based firm The Meet Group has seen its stock more than double since the beginning of April. The rise is attributable to the continued roll-out of video streaming on platforms like LOVOO and MeetMe, both of which have seen users up their engagement and rate their experiences more favourably since the technology was implemented.
  • Ashley Madison
    Ashley Madison is an online dating service and social network aimed at people who are married or in relationships. The Canadian brand has enjoyed a banner 2018, acquiring over 150,000 new users per month in the US alone and ramping up their branding in creative and controversial ways.
  • Jdate
    The go-to site for Jewish dating, Jdate has so many active singles it's always easy for a match to be found. Now owned by Spark Networks, they have been successfully expanding their services throughout Europe amid an increase in user demand. Jdate pride themselves on meaningful matches, and were praised for their recent advertising campaign featuring a 90-year-old great-Grandmother.
  • Jack'd
    Jack'd is one of the most diverse gay apps in the App store, with over 1.2 million guys in approximately 180 countries. The free dating app offers users a more in-depth insight into potential matches, so they can see if swiping right is worth their time. Jack'd has gained plaudits for its security features after they added location blurring and removed the screenshot feature.
  • Online Dating Association
    Launched in 2013 by a group of industry players, the Online Dating Association (ODA) helps to ensure that the sector has a strong voice when dealing with UK government representatives and regulators, the media, financial service providers, social networks and others. Returning CEO George Kidd spoke to GDI on 2nd July about the organisation's mission and role in 2018.
  • Spark Networks
    Spark Networks SE is a leading global dating company with a portfolio of niche and premium brands designed for singles seeking serious relationships. These brands include EliteSingles, Christian Mingle and Attractive World. The Berlin-based firm has seen great success since its listing on the NYSE early this year.
  • Sqaud Social
    Rob is the Founder and CEO of Squad Social, a start-up building a social platform for the LGBTQ+ market. Previously he was the Managing Director at Gaydar, where he led the development and release of their new digital magazine, Means Happy, and the migration of their operations to Spain.
  • Yoti
    Yoti is a leading digital identity app, based in the UK. They securely store all of your personal and legal data in your phone, a place where only you can access it. Yoti can be used alongside dating apps so users never need to worry about speaking to a fake profile again. GDI spoke to CEO and Founder Robin Tombs after their "Little Casanova" Facebook campaign went viral last year.
