Tinder Partners With Non-Proft Domestic Violence Group ‘No More’
Tinder, in collaboration with the non-profit No More, is launching a pop-up nail bar in London on October 25-26, 2024. The event, called Nailing Dating, aims to empower singles with practical advice for navigating the modern dating scene.
Located at 67 Great Titchfield Street, the nail bar offers free gel manicures and optional nail art, along with workshops designed to help attendees feel confident and in control of their dating experiences. Workshops will focus on topics like managing the pace of dating and setting personal boundaries, and include Tinder and No More’s “Ten Tips” for empowered dating, covering advice such as communicating non-negotiables and knowing when to take a break from dating.
This initiative is backed by research showing that while 57% of women aged 18-35 discuss their dating lives at nail salons, 75% hesitate to talk openly with close friends and family about their experiences. Tinder’s Nailing Dating campaign aims to encourage more open, healthy conversations about dating – giving women a place to discuss their current and past relationships while also being advised on how to protect themselves in the future.
The free-to-attend event needs to be booked in advance, and is only planned to run for a very short time. According to Tinder’s Senior Communications Director, Laura Wilkinson-Rea, it’s hoped that “(the) Nailing Dating nail bar highlights the importance of healthy conversations about dating”.
