FROM THE WEB: CNBC Report: ‘Mobile Dating, The Match Making Market’

CNBC’s Josh Lipton has done a short report on the rise of mobile dating, citing the well-covered PEW Internet report and talking to Zoosk President Alex Mehr.

Lipton says that the industry is estimated to be worth $2bn, and runs through some of the top apps that singles might be using this New Years Eve.

Zoosk President Alex Mehr talks about how mobile has made messaging between matches much easier – as opposed to having to wait to log onto their computer at home to reply.
