In a new article, former technology analyst for Goldman Sachs, Andy Schroepfer describes how VR technology could change the way people approach social interactions in the future.

Writing for Fortune, Schroepfer says: “Many experts believe that VR will be more than a gaming fad. There is a growing belief it can create an ability to have full-fledged, wide-angle experiences, and even relive cherished memories.”

The post includes comments from the founder of BadOnlineDates.com, Jennifer Kelton, explaining how virtual reality could help to simulate the feelings people get from games, social networking and dating.

Schroepfer gives insight into how future VR developments could be used to help the ageing population create new memories, or revisit past times to help them stay socially connected, and even better their dating lives.
