Art Project Skewers Superficiality of Tinder

tender

Dutch students have created a bizarre art project that seeks to represent the superficiality of dating apps like Tinder.

Tender is an new art installation piece where a piece of meat is robotically rotated to swipe right to every female profile on the app.

The project is from four media students from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and is due to appear in an exhibition next weekend.

In the project description, creators Cors Brinkman, Jeroen van Oorschot, Marcello Maureira, and Matei Szabo said: “Tender is the easy way to connect with new and interesting meat around you. Switch on and if someone likes you back, it’s a match!”

Their installation will appear in the Habitat art exhibition at Radion Amsterdam.
