Bumble Stock Rises After Hiring Ex-Salesforce Executive As CPO
Shares of Bumble Inc. (NASDAQ:BMBL) climbed 3.2% after the company announced the appointment of Michael Affronti as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO). The move, effective immediately, is expected to bolster the company’s product innovation and user experience as Affronti takes the helm of the Product, Safety, Research, and Customer Care teams.
Affronti joins Bumble from Salesforce (NYSE:CRM), where he led the Commerce Cloud as SVP and General Manager. His leadership at Salesforce contributed to the success of a multi-billion-dollar global e-commerce business. With a background that includes roles at Dataminr and Fuze, and a decade at Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) working on products such as Office and Outlook, Affronti brings a wealth of experience in product development and strategy to Bumble.
