Short Dazed Documentary Explores World Of Teenage Sexting

A new film by Dazed looks at how sexting is becoming interwoven into the lives of young people.

The short documentary by Orian Barki speaks to teenagers about the subject, and explores how the rise of technology has altered the landscape of sexuality & relationships for today’s teenagers, compared to previous generations.

As Dazed said: “Sexting has become an inevitable part of the coming-of-age story: teenagers are curious about their bodies, seeking that rush when they’re exploring their sexuality for the first time, and technology is a tool that makes it happen.”

The film also touches on some of the darker elements surrounding the subject of sexting & online shaming.
