The Asian online dating market has grown significantly in recent years, as the region continues to attract new companies with its heavy use of mobile technology.
A new blog post by app analytics platform App Annie looks at the brands that are performing well across the Asian market, outlining the reasons why they are doing so well.
Published yesterday, the post begins by noting that the key to dating success in Asia is to create unique features which have an direct appeal to a localised audience.
It then goes on to list the top industry players from various countries, such as South Korea, Japan, China and Singapore, analysing exactly why each app performs so well in its home market.
Using leading apps Momo, TanTan and Paktor as key examples, App Annie says how these platforms have adapted their services in order to both thrive in a particular country, and generate long-term revenue.
