Study Says Couples Who Post About Their Relationship Are More Insecure

Researchers think they have found out why some couples post about their relationship so much online.

A study published in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin said  these couples tend to be more insecure about their love life.

The research found that those with high anxiety towards their relationship want to remind people about it, whereas those who were more content did not crave relationship visibility.

The researchers said: “On a daily basis, when people felt more insecure about their partner’s feelings, they tended to make their relationships visible. These studies highlight the role of relationships in how people portray themselves to others.”
