Earlier this week, Calvin Klein revealed its latest provocative ad campaign, inspired by sexting and the hookup app generation.
The #mycalvins campaign intersperses shots of models with printed stories of “love, lust and sexual desire” inspired by sexts and messages sent by real people.
And now the clothing company, known for their titillating campaigns, has released the accompanying video advert, in which these real life sexts are read aloud over the models’ modern sexual encounters.
The ad campaign is designed to “highlight the truth about dating–the meetup, the hookup and the freedom that you have through the digital dating landscape and how instantaneous it is.”
The Calvin Klein adverts are set to run on Tinder’s new ad platform, which has video capabilities, in the fall, so its likely we will see a combination of the printed and video ads on the dating app.
