Fiat Advertise On Happn With Prize-Giving Profiles

happnfiatUsers of French app happn have been crossing paths with Miss and Mr Fiat 500, who are promising their matches a romantic week away.

The promotion, a collaboration between happn and Fiat, has been running in the lead up to Valentine’s Day.

Fiat have placed both male and female profiles for the Fiat 500 on the dating app, offering prizes to singles who Like or Charm the profiles.

The profile bio says: “I doubt you have crossed paths with someone more generous than me today”.

Singles who like the profiles can win a trip to Italy for two, a spa weekend or a pair of cinema tickets.

This comes a week after GAP were booted off Tinder for adding unauthorised profiles that advertised their Spring collection to the app.

While other brands and charities – including Amnesty International, General Pants and The Mindy Project – have used Tinder as an advertising platform, GAP did not ask permission from Tinder, and the ads violated the terms of service.

This week, happn has also been handing out giftable chocolates to Londoners, to encourage them to make a move this Valentine’s Day.
