eHarmony Reveals Winners Of ‘Love Captured’ Photo Competition
eHarmony has announced the winners of its photo competition, that seeks to find images that capture the true essence of love.
This year’s Love Captured photo contest received more than 1,000 entries, and was won by a 31-year-old’s photo of a young boy and his dog waiting at a window for his Grandpa to return.
The photograph was taken by Sebastian Czubachowski, who won the £1,000 prize.
Speaking about his winning photograph, Sebastian said: “When I found out I’d won I couldn’t believe it, it really did make my day.
“I feel the photo’s appeal lies in the suspense — it makes you think about the story behind the image. It also helps that it’s such a cute scene, the pair waiting for grandfather to arrive.”
The boy in the photograph was Sebastian’s nephew Kajetan and his dog Foxi.
Romain Bertrand, UK Managing Director of eHarmony.co.uk, said: “We’re very proud to continue the competition for a second year and make a tradition of asking the nation to show us what love means to them.
“We may be experts in bringing our users the perfect match, but it’s great that many of these photos go beyond romance, showing the beauty of love in all its forms.”
