Skype Now Lets You Chat To Anyone Using A Shareable Link

skype

As one of the most popular communication platforms for both work and personal life, Skype has just made it even easier for you to talk to someone.

Skype has just started to roll out a feature that lets users invite people to join a chat, simply by sharing a unique link.

These links can be sent through existing communication platforms like email, Facebook, Whatsapp, Messenger and Twitter.

And these unique links can be used by anyone, even if they don’t have a Skype account.

Using Skype for Web, anyone can now join a chat as a guest and access one-to-one messaging, voice and video calls without downloading any apps or registering to Skype.

This feature is available for Windows, Mac and web across the UK and US.

The new updates will be made available across the rest of the world in the coming weeks, and the ability to do the same thing on mobile devices is set to be launched soon.

To use the new feature, simply choose the “+New” option on Skype for Windows, Skype for Mac or Skype for Web, and begin to share links with the people you want to talk to.
