Hinge, the dating app that helps singles meet people through their network of friends, is now rewarding its loyal users with a variety of social treats.
Introduced last week, HingePerks gives the app’s dedicated users the chance to win a variety of “social specials”, that they can then share with dates or friends.
For the promotion, Hinge has teamed up with a number of partners to make the treats fun and diverse.
Companies involved include Starwood Hotels, Church of 8 Wheels, Huckleberry Bar NYC, where Hinge users can enjoy discounted drinks Sunday to Thursday.
The treats include a range of trips and staycations, extended Happy Hours and a pair of tickets to a baseball game.
A previous winner was congratulated on the app’s Instagram page, after winning an LA staycation at a Starwood hotel, along with a spa treatment of their choice.
To win the prize, entrants have to follow Hinge’s Instagram account – an effort to boost its current follower count of 6,223.
Hopefuls are then required to comment on the Perk post, stating their dream destination and tagging the person they would go with.
The first Perk received an overwhelming response from Instagram users hoping to claim the prize.
The Instagram post was liked by more than 600 accounts, and saw over 2,000 comments.
Hinge is also rewarding couples who found each other on the app, by congratulating them with celebratory free drinks.
To get them, the couples simply have to inform the Hinge team about their story, and featured couples will be awarded the drinks.
