Last week, The Atlantic held their annual New York Ideas festival, featuring talks and interviews from the biggest people, ideas and trends that will change the future.
One such interviewee was Sean Rad, the President and co-founder of Tinder, who chatted to Atlantic President and Editor in Chief James Bennet.
Rad was quizzed about his quote that the app has “eliminated the fear of rejection”, the misogynistic behaviour often seen on the app, and how the app has tried to curb this behaviour.
The event, held in conjunction with the Aspen Institute, aimed to “explore the possibilities that charm and challenge human intelligence and ingenuity, this year’s festival investigated how today’s questions become tomorrow’s answers”
