Why Women Should Disclose Their Income When Online Dating

Women should disclose their salary when searching for a date online, says a journalist writing in Forbes.

Emma Johnson says following years of unsuccessful searching for love online, after she started to disclose what she earned in her profile, she began meeting much more interesting men.

The 38-year-old told this to her friend Farnoosh Torabi, who is a financial expert and author of When She Makes More: The Truth About Navigating Love and Life for a New Generation of Women.

Torabi believes disclosing your salary early in a relationship is a positive move for high-earning women, as it “allows for any resentment to be worked through early in the courtship”.

Apparently the chance of a divorce in couples where the woman earns more than the man is double than when it’s the opposite way round.
