ASK.fm Seeks New Ownership

ASK.fm, the global social network based on the Q&A format, is seeking new ownership.

The platform is ready to start the next chapter of its journey while seeing significant popularity in the Middle East and North Africa, with more than 30% of all users coming from the region.

The social network was acquired by Noosphere Ventures several years ago, but the parent company has now shifted its focus to space technology. This opens the window for new ownership at ASK.fm.

ASK.fm is a global leader in the Q&A niche of social networking & discovery. Users can ask or answer questions openly or anonymously, with options for private chats as well.

In 2015 the platform expanded into Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and now operates within 15 countries in the region. 32% of all ASK.fm users are in the MENA area, representing more than 86,000 daily users and with an average session length of up to 30 minutes.

The MENA area is brimming with potential for online social networking, with 5 out of the top 10 countries in the world for social media usage being in the region.

With new ownership, ASK.fm says it could benefit from new features which combine real-life communication and AI technology. But this strategy would have to be determined by the new owners.

Overall, ASK.fm says that its success in the MENA market makes it the perfect fit for new ownership opportunities. All interested parties are respectfully asked to contact pr@ask.fm for further information.
