Bumble has partnered with Spoken Fest, a two-day event presented by Spotify that celebrates some of India’s most talented artists, poets, musicians and comedians.
The female-first social app had a colourful stand where representatives handed out free sparkling wine and soft drinks, as well as fortune cookies with positive affirmations printed inside.
Guests had the opportunity to talk to one another and potentially start new romantic, friendly and professional relationships.
On the second day of the Mumbai festival, attendees could sign up for ‘dates’ with some of performing artists. The winning guests had private conversations about whatever they wanted, but there was also a pot full of ice-breakers just in case the interaction got stilted.
Since it was launched in the country at the end of 2018, Bumble has secured its position as one of the top ten lifestyle apps on the Indian iOS charts.
Bumble teamed up with BBDO India in April to work on all of its marketing campaigns going forward.
Two months later, the second ‘Find Them On Bumble’ promotion was launched in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. It featured 25 local, inspiring businesswomen who use the platform, including investor and ambassador Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Bumble rounded up the year by hosting an intimate live performance from popular music producer Zaeden for a small number of users.
