Chispa Launches Pride Month Campaign
Chispa, the Match Group dating app for the Latine singles, is reaffirming its support for the Latinx LGBTQIA+ with a series of new initiatives. It is adding a new Pride profile sticker collection and making a monetary donation to a relevant charity.
The new sticker collection will now be permanently available to Chispa users, representing solidarity and acceptance with the diverse community on the app. Some examples of the stickers can be found below:

The platform also committed to making a monetary donation to the Latino Equality Alliance, which advocates for the welfare of the Latinx Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer + community.
“At Chispa, we strive to create an inclusive and safe space for all Latine singles to connect. We’re aware that much progress is yet to be made to support and amplify our voices”, said Julia Estacolchic, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Chispa.
“To further our commitment, we are proud to support the ongoing work of the Latino Equality Alliance to promote the safety and wellness of the LGBTQIA+ communities. Our new collection of Pride stickers on Chispa is another way in which we celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and continue to spread love for everyone”, she added.
As part of this campaign, Chispa conducted a survey which found that over 60% of Latinx singles did not discuss LGBTQIA+issues growing up. This campaign looks to now increase LGBTQIA+ visibility within this community and spark meaningful conversations.
The survey also found reasons to be positive, with 39% of respondents acknowledging that Latines face more LGBTQIA+ discrimination within their own community. Additionally, 1-in-4 respondents expressed openness to dating LGBTQIA+ individuals, representing a shift in dating attitudes.
