Match Group-owned Chispa has partnered with Voto Latino, a non-profit political organisation, to promote political education and voter registration amongst users.
The collaboration is designed to promote and educate Chispa’s Hispanic and Latinx users on the upcoming US election, helping to unite the community, choose candidates, and make their voices heard.
Chispa is one of the largest dating apps for US Latinx millennial singles with over three million downloads.

Julia Estacolchic, Head of Marketing at Chispa, said in a statement: “We are very excited to kick off our partnership with Voto Latino, as we know that our audiences are very similar and passionate about making a difference in this election cycle.
“By providing voter registration and turnout resources, and allowing our users to connect based on issues on the ballot, we hope to foster meaningful conversations and ultimately, strong connections amongst US Latinx singles.”
Census Bureau survey data found that Latinx turnout in the 2018 midterms was 40.4%, a 50% increase over the 2014 midterms. Chispa and Voto Latino want to ensure that these figure continue to rise by encouraging Millennials and Gen Zers to register.
