ESquared And S’More Offer Free Drinks To Encourage Face-To-Face Dating
ESquared Hospitality are offering couples who meet on S’More a free drink at all participating restaurants to ‘take the stress out of organising a date’ and encourage daters to begin meeting in person again.
Beginning October 4, 2020 and ending January 4, 2021, ESquared Hospitality restaurants, including, BLT in New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C, will become the official ‘date destination’ for S’More app users.
Adam Cohen Aslatei, CEO of S’More, said “S’More celebrates first dates, but they can be stressful. Given that our app is designed to connect people
beyond the physical, we are proud to partner with ESquared Hospitality to get people talking and meeting in real life (in a safe and socially distant setting of course!). The S’More community will love this partnership because now there’s one less thing to think about before the big date!”
The dating experience in 2020 has been totally upturned by the COVID-19 pandemic, with dating platforms and singles being forced to readjust to meeting in a virtual sphere, via online chats and video. Now, as we return towards a normal experience, many dating platforms are offering options for daters to return to a face-to-face experience.
S’More have released a guide for ‘IRL’ dating post COVID-19, explaining how singles can interact in a fun but safe manner. The advice includes;
- Be more selective and vet your dates via video
- Be clear on what you are looking for
- Ask your date his/her COVID status
- Create a meeting IRL contract, rules of engagement
- Decide on a fun socially distant activity
- Try outdoor dining 6 feet apart
- Try getting tested together to further reduce the risk
Through this partnership, S’More hopes to bring people back to safe in-person dating, while simultaneously being a key driver in supporting the restaurant industry.
