ExoClick has recently announced that as a company it will discontinue version 1 of its platform API in July.
The ad company announced to its clients using the API that they will need to switch over to version 2 as soon as they can.
Version 2 was released in October 2017 and was made to allow clients to automate all of the platform features that are inside ExoClick’s admin panel.
Benjamin Fonzé, CEO and founder of ExoClick, commented: “Version 2 of our API opens up enormous creative possibilities for automation.
“Both advertisers/affiliates and publishers are harnessing the API’s power for a range of applications including automating repetitive tasks, conversion tracking integration with third party platforms, data analysis, landing page optimisation, campaign automation and much more.”
When using the API’s interface, users have to press the “Try It Out” button to automatically generate a code.
There is also a user manual that is available and contains examples of PHP code for different functions which can be quickly copied to ensure a faster workflow.
