Inner Circle appointed Sanneke Boesveldt as its first ever Chief Marketing Officer in February. It came at a time when the dating app was expanding its marketing, communications and PR departments to streamline its overall brand message.
The first major impact was contributing to the company’s complete rebrand, which included a new name, logo and promotional tagline.
Moving forward, all of Inner Circle’s marketing efforts will be focused around the ‘Meet Your Match’ catchphrase, encouraging serious daters to take the necessary steps towards finding a partner. Its most recent campaign banned users from sending single-word messages, such as ‘Hi’ or ‘Hey’, and instead automatically generated creative and unique pickup lines.
It recently surpassed the three million user milestone, marking a period of fast growth during the lockdown restrictions brought on by COVID-19.
