FITFCK Launches Dating App
FITFCK, a dating brand for fitness-minded singles, has launched its dating app. Available on IOS and Android, the platform will enable gym-goers to filter potential matches by their favourite workouts, fitness levels, and more.
The brand shared that this community is under-served by traditional dating apps, and that the FITFCK app will be a hub for fitness-related connections. As well as finding dates, users on the platform can post progress photos using social media integrations, and organise training sessions.
Users will be able to filter potential matches by their vital statistics, fitness levels, favourite workouts, and preferred foods. This is one of the unique aspects of the platform, it shared.
What sets the brand apart from others is its significant female audience. At its in-person fitness dating events, the ratio of women to men is 60-40, something other platforms have struggled to achieve, FITFCK explained.
“Females have the biggest voice on social media and the value this will have for us when it comes to attracting users is going to be invaluable! There isn’t one mainstream dating brand out there – that I’m aware of – that has a balanced ratio of men and women, let alone a larger female audience”, shared FITFCK Founder, Jamie Wykes-Hobday.
“I’m over the moon with the version of the app that’s just gone live. We will also be committing to delivering monthly product updates to further enhance the user experience throughout 2023. But for now – bring on launch month!”, he added.
The brand also shared that James Brodey had been appointed COO. Brodey is an investor in the company and long-time friend with Wykes Hobday.
“I was thrilled to recently announce that I was taking on the role of COO at FITFCK. Having seen the progress over the past year it is safe to say FITFCK is on its way to making some big moves. It was an absolute no-brainer for me to jump on the ship with Jamie. Although I can’t reveal too much about future plans just yet (as excited as I am to be helping shape them), what I can say is that London and Manchester are about to get FIT as FCK as we enter launch week for the app”, the new COO stated.
Over the past 12 months, FITFCK has received funding from popular YouTubers Sam Harry and Martin Wood; Tim Stokely, founder of OnlyFans; and entrepreneur James Vogle.
