Former Tinder CPO Joins Health and Wellness Company
Tinder’s former Chief Product Officer Ravi Mehta has joined the advisory board of digiD8, a technology company focused on health and wellness.
Mehta left Tinder in February after spending just 12 months at the dating app. However, he oversaw several significant developments during his tenure, including the launch of the interactive video series ‘Swipe Night’.
The choose-your-own-adventure show was very well received by Gen Z across the United States and a second series, as well as an international release, had received the green light. Unfortunately those plans had to be put on standby due to the current pandemic.
Speaking about his new role, Mehta said in an official statement: “Advances in science and medicine provide a new level of insight into health and wellness. I am excited to work with digiD8 to help think through products that strengthen people’s lives and help their relationships thrive.”
digiD8 is working on a product for couples to help them maintain healthy lifestyle choices while handling the dynamic pressures of a relationship.
Its co-founder and CEO Barghavi Govindarajan added: “To accomplish our mission of creating a self-care focused relationship platform for couples, it is paramount that we build out the team’s collective intelligence at the nexus of health and social discovery.
“Ravi espouses a clear vision for how he wishes to impact the industry and these are remarkably synergistic with our path at digiD8. We are thrilled to welcome Ravi to the team at this formative stage.”
