Lauren Goodger Responds to Dating Site Critics

Reality TV Star Lauren Goodger has just announced the launch of her new online dating platform – the website went live two weeks ago.

She also defended the branding of LaurensLittleSecret.com, because some of the immediate feedback called it “seedy” and claimed it was designed to facilitate extramarital relationships.

Writing in her weekly column on CelebsNow, Goodger said: “I’ve started a dating website called laurenslittlesecret.com and in less than 24 hours it had loads of sign-ups!

“It’s nothing seedy, it’s just like most dating apps out there. And of course I wouldn’t encourage cheating! People need to lighten up – it’s just a bit of fun.”

She then described the original launch as “premature”, which explains why she has only just started to officially promote it.

An Instagram account was initially set up for LaurensLittleSecret.com, but it disappeared almost immediately.

However, there is a blank profile that claims the other account was deleted by regulators. Instagram has very strict rules surrounding nudity its social network.

Singles pay £22 per month to be a member of the new service, which is powered by HubPeople, a white label platform that powers a variety of online dating websites.

HubPeople has recently acquired Olé Dating to try and make more of an impact in Spanish-speaking markets.
