Match.com’s 3D printing pop-up coffee shop is currently underway in London.
For the pop-up event, the dating site has teamed up with 3D printing company Coffee Ripples, which is using its tech to print singles’ faces onto their coffees.
Called Espresso Yourself, Match.com will be offering people three types of coffee, all with a twist.
If singles choose a “chappuccino” or “femmericano”, their drink will have one of eight Match.com members drawn onto the foam of their coffee using a 3D printer – the dating platform also offering coffee lovers a “menu” of people to choose from based on their gender preferences.
The cups are also customised to give more information about each of the members and how to connect with them on the platform.
However, if someone chooses the “selffees” option, they can print their own face onto their drink and potentially hand it to someone who catches their eye.
Espresso Yourself is being held in Boxpark, Shoreditch until 5pm today.
