Shar Dubey will be presenting a fireside chat this week as part of the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Communications Virtual Conference.
Taking place at 2pm ET on 13th May, the presentation by the Match Group CEO is expected to cover how the online dating company, and the industry as a whole, is dealing with the coronavirus outbreak
A live webcast and a replay of the presentation will be available from Match Group’s ‘Investor Relations’ web page.
This will be the 48th annual edition of the J.P. Morgan event, which is usually held in Boston, Massachusetts. The investment banking company is expecting more than 2,000 participants to tune in and approximately 200 public companies to host fireside chats and private meetings.
A statement on the website reads: “J.P. Morgan will be virtually bringing together established industry leaders and emerging high-growth companies with a broad base of top-tier investors.
“At the same time, we will facilitate excellent company/investor interaction through extensive one-on-one meetings, panel discussions, and other events via Zoom.”
Match Group released its Q1 financial results last week and reported a total revenue year-on-year increase of 17%. It also announced a live video chat feature will be released on Tinder before the end of the year.
The dating app has started to test a new trivia game, where players get asked multiple choice questions while engaging in a video chat with three other people.
