NIM – The Exclusive Muslim Relationship App
A new members-only dating app for Muslims has launched internationally. NIM is a Sharia-compliant platform that has a range of features that cater to the Muslim community, including conversation chaperones.
Founded by serial tech entrepreneur and Afghan American, Snaullah (Sal) Niazi, NIM looks to provide a curated online community of Muslims seeking meaningful connections. The platform helps these singles connect in a variety of ways, including hand-picked matchmaking.
NIM also allows users to create a ‘Circle’, where family and friends can participate in the app to suggest or veto potential matches. Additionally, users can add chaperones to their conversations, “to ensure appropriateness in all interactions”, it explained.
Beyond online matching, the platform is also looking to organise in-person events.
“Paying members in major cities will have the opportunity to join intimate gatherings which provide a unique opportunity for members to engage face-to-face, fostering deeper connections and building a stronger sense of community”, said Niazi.
NIM is already available in key regions around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Turkey, Singapore, and Malaysia.
