The Online Dating Association has joined forces with the Cabinet Office to support the rollout of the COVID-19 booster vaccination campaign across the UK.
The Cabinet Office is calling on the dating industry to support the health of the UK with the Booster campaign. Working with agency 23red, the dating sector is being asked to think about how companies can incorporate the message to ‘get boosted’ within their apps, websites and platforms.
This could take the form of advertising space, social media posts, or integrated features and badges within the platforms. A national advertising campaign for Boosters launched on Friday 14th January and runs through February. The concept of the campaign is focused on ‘Joining the Boosted, and keep life moving’ and the campaign will include digital and social assets, and longer copy messaging.
Last year, the dating industry supported the Cabinet Office in the vaccine campaign, which was very well received. The campaign encouraged online daters to get vaccinated, utilising features within app and website platforms, such as badges, upgraded features and resources on vaccination. The Cabinet Office was extremely appreciative of the support, with the ODA receiving a letter of thanks from then Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi.
