Online Dating Leaders Start Trust & Safety Hackathon
Trust & safety leaders from Hinge and Grindr are organising a hackathon on July 10th 2023. The hackathon encourages individuals to brainstorm ways for AI to better protect users across platforms.
Jeff Dunn, VP, Trust, Safety, and Support at Hinge is leading the organisation of the event. Alice Hunsberger, VP, Global Head of Customer Experience at Grindr, is sitting on the hackathon’s Steering Committee.
The hackathon’s website shared that this “T&S Hackathon will be focused on identifying solutions that answer the following question: How can AI be used to better protect all users across platforms?”.
The hackathon will be hosted at the Hyatt Regency on the Embarcadero, on 5 Embarcadero Ctr, San Francisco, California on July 10th 2023. Participants can join the hackathon session remotely or in-person.
The event is linked to TrustCon 2023, a global conference dedicated to the work of trust and safety professionals.
In-person participants in the hackathon will spend the morning of the 10th brainstorming, and then build solutions in the afternoon. At the end of the day, all participants will anonymously vote for the top 3 solutions developed at the event.
And then on July 11-13, at the TrustCon event, the top 3 solutions from the hackathon will be presented live on stage. These solutions will ultimately be shared online so that interested parties can continue working on each solution.
