The Meet Group Adds GIFs and Stickers to MeetMe With ‘Holler’ Partnership
The Meet Group has announced a new partnership with ‘Holler’, a technology company that helps people be as expressive as possible when sending messages.
Starting with MeetMe, Holler will be integrated to provide users with a unique range of GIFs and animated stickers. These products can be sent to their matches as a fun way to express emotions and keep conversations flowing.
It’s hoped that the update will prevent messages being misconstrued as members will be able to show whether they’re flirting, joking or excited.
Holler uses on-device AI to recommend relevant GIFs and stickers as the interaction progresses, which means the extra content can be included without breaking up the conversation.

The Meet Group’s Senior Vice President of Advertising Nick Hermansader said in a statement: “When it comes to connecting people, we feel it is important for MeetMe to offer our members as many tools as possible to communicate and express themselves in whatever way they feel most comfortable.
“In today’s digital world, much of that communication and expression is done through emojis, GIFs, and stickers. We chose the Holler platform because it made it easy to access a breadth of content solutions that can add more nuance and expression into the exciting experience of meeting new people.”
Holler has already partnered with other popular dating platforms, such as Badoo and Plenty Of Fish, to support a range of animated content.
Last month, The Meet Group teamed up with anti-sexual violence organisation RAINN to build safer online communities, improve policies and support abuse survivors.
