Tinder Gave Gifts Of Up To $400 To Fund Singles’ Valentine’s Day Plans

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Tinder dished out cash gifts of up to $400 to help users plan their perfect date.

For its Valentine’s campaign, Tinder asked singles to tweet their best Valentine’s Day ideas, using only emojis and tagging it with the hashtag #FundMyVday.

On its official blog, Tinder explained:

The Hollywood company then teamed up with payments app Square and sent cash gifts between $10 – $400 to people with the best Valentine’s plans.

In total, Tinder said the retail value of all the prizes available was $10,000.

The campaign saw a huge amount of engagement on Twitter, with thousands of social media users tagging Tinder with their date ideas.

Winning entrants included $10 to buy some cookies, money for tickets to see Lady Gaga in concert, and $400 to visit California.
