Tinder’s New Data Podcast DTR Starts Tomorrow

Tinder DTR

Tinder’s new dating podcast will launch tomorrow, 8th December.

The podcast series, called DTR or “define the relationship” is six episodes long and will air weekly on Thursdays.

As we wrote yesterday, the podcast will be hosted by journalist & This American Life music supervisor Jane Marie.

And today, Tinder has posted about the forthcoming podcast on its blog, saying it will be a “deep dive into the conversation about dating and relationships in the digital age” made up of “part wisdom, part data science, part investigative reporting”.

The dating company said: “From the ubiquitous “hey” as an opening line to first date ‘fails’ to the various ways people Tinder in different cultures around the globe, DTR explores the good and bad, the hilarious and awkward, the wonderful and bizarre aspects of dating in today’s world.”

The show is a collaboration between Tinder and branded podcast producer Gimlet Creative.

The first show will air tomorrow, Thursday 8th December and will run weekly for six episodes.
