Verified MillionaireMatch Profiles Allowed to Hide Headshots
MillionaireMatch, an elite dating service for high-earning singles, is constantly introducing new measures to ensure every user is legitimate.
This includes a strict verification process that requires new members to confirm their identity with pictures and bank statements. Users must be able to prove that they have an annual income of over $150,000 and a current bank balance of at least $1 million.
Last October, the platform introduced a profile verification badge for the singles who completed every stage of the background checks.
Now the latest update means certified millionaires no longer need to have headshots as a profile picture. Instead, they are allowed to protect their identity by using images of their luxury assets.
The option was made available after user feedback showed that they didn’t want so much personal information available to strangers.
Sammy Wang from MillionaireMatch said in a statement: “We are always looking to make our members happy. We collected and analyzed user feedback, and we believe this is a smart move.
“A lot of our certified millionaires do not want to be looked at by random strangers. We hope that with increased privacy more millionaires will be attracted to MillionaireMatch.”
MillionaireMatch welcomed its four millionth member in April and estimates that over two million monthly conversations happen on the service.
CEO of The Inner Circle David Vermeulen explained to GDI yesterday how his dating app employs a team of “stay-at-home mums” to screen every new profile and protect the community from bad actors.
