Coffee Meets Bagel Partners with SG Culture Pass

Coffee Meets Bagel has entered a year-long collaboration with Singapore’s SG Culture Pass initiative, launching a series of exclusive promotions on February 14, 2026, aimed at encouraging singles to plan arts and culture-focused first dates. The partnership provides CMB users with priority access, discounts, and upgrades for select events, leveraging the $100 cultural credits available to Singaporeans aged 18 and above (valid through December 31, 2028).

The initial batch of 11 offers includes priority tickets to concerts such as the Orchestra of the Music Makers Singapore’s Pixar In Concert and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s A Musical Box Of Chocolates, $2 off admission to Haw Par Villa’s Hell’s Museum, and an additional drink at the immersive dining experience Wonderland Upside Down. These perks are designed to promote low-pressure, shared cultural experiences as alternatives to traditional dinner or café meetups.

CMB CEO Shn Juay stated that “Cultural dates naturally slow things down. They create shared experiences, ease first-date anxiousness and open the door to richer, more thoughtful conversations.”

The SG Culture Pass, administered by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), has seen over $10 million in credits redeemed since September 1, 2025, with young adults aged 18–35 accounting for half of usage. MCCY confirmed the CMB partnership was initiated by the government to reach singles and promote arts participation. The ministry indicated it is open to similar collaborations with other dating apps and non-arts organizations. As of early 2026, CMB ranks as the second-most popular dating app among Singaporeans (per a 2025 YouGov survey), with 42% of dating app users having tried it.
