KCL Student’s Launches Secret Crush-Matching App Goldrush
A King’s College London (KCL) neuroscience and psychology master’s student has launched Goldrush, a new dating app designed specifically for university students to discreetly find out if their real-life crush likes them back – without the risk of rejection or awkwardness.
Daniel Cunningham created Goldrush after noticing how fear of embarrassment often prevents people from acting on feelings within existing social circles – whether it’s someone from a lecture, sports society, or frequent nights out. “Dating apps are built for meeting strangers,” he told The King’s Tab. “Goldrush is for people you already know.”
