Pinterest Q4: 619M Monthly Users and $1.3B Revenue

Pinterest announced strong fourth-quarter results for 2025, adding 19 million monthly active users to reach a global total of 619 million. Revenue for Q4 reached $1.3 billion, contributing to a full-year total of $4.2 billion, both reflecting double-digit year-over-year increases.

U.S. user growth lagged behind international markets, where Pinterest continues to expand its audience. Revenue remains heavily weighted toward the U.S., reinforcing the platform’s dependence on its core market for advertising income despite broader global gains.

The company highlighted continued investment in search and discovery as key drivers of engagement. Pinterest now processes more than 80 billion searches per month, supported by enhancements including advanced search qualifiers and improved product categorization to deliver more relevant results tied to user interests.

AI features have been integrated in ways that align with existing behaviour rather than broad generative tools. In October 2025, Pinterest introduced AI-powered recommendations within boards to surface items matching past engagement and launched a Pinterest Assistant to assist with product discovery. These additions prioritize practical utility over experimental novelty. Pinterest’s visual-heavy format makes it particularly susceptible to low-quality AI Pins, which can dilute inspiration value in lifestyle and shopping feeds.

Alongside this, Pinterest is expanding into connected TV (CTV) with the January 2026 acquisition of tvScientific, a CTV advertising platform, and the launch of a shoppable lifestyle show on Roku TV.
