RAW Dating App Launches “Adopt The Boyfriend” Campaign

RAW has launched a Valentine’s Day 2026 campaign called “Adopt The Boyfriend”. The initiative curates a selection of standout male singles and presents them to women as “adoptable” bachelors, with the goal of bypassing prolonged in-app chatting in favor of real-world dates. Intended as a kind of Valentine’s Day seasonal campaign, Adopt The Boyfriend brings some new – and, presumably, temporary – functionality to the platform.

The campaign features adoption-style profile cards for each highlighted man, using playful descriptors such as “Athletic Golden Retriever” or “Software Engineer – Slightly Feral” to highlight personality and interests. Women browse the curated lineup and select who they want to “take home.” Selected matches are invited to structured, hosted dating nights at social venues in New York City, where the app facilitates group interactions designed to encourage genuine conversations.

Men can apply directly through the app to be considered for the featured roster. Those chosen receive elevated visibility within RAW and priority access to matchmaking events. Applications for the bachelor roster and featured selections are open throughout February, with hosted dating nights scheduled as part of the rollout.

The campaign begins in New York but is planned to expand to additional states later in 2026.RAW positions the effort as a response to common frustrations with traditional dating apps – endless messaging that fails to lead to meetings, decision fatigue from high-volume swiping, and a lack of social momentum. By focusing on a limited, vetted selection of men and shifting activity offline, the app aims to create higher-intent interactions and reduce the emotional labor often associated with early-stage digital dating.
