Three Day Rule Acquired, Appoints New CEO, Plans New App
Three Day Rule Matchmaking, one of the more notable companies in the personalized matchmaking space, has announced its acquisition by a private investment group alongside the appointment of Adam Cohen-Aslatei as CEO. Along with this acquisition, the company is now aimingto expand its services and make professional matchmaking accessible to more singles across the U.S.
Cohen-Aslatei, a seasoned dating industry executive with over 15 years of experience, is best known for founding the anti-superficial dating app S’More, which was later acquired by Tawkify. He has also held leadership roles at Bumble and The Meet Group. According to the announcement, his immediate vision for Three Day Rule will involve a brand new app aimed at long-term relationship-building and a series of dating coach programs.
Concerning the aquisition, Cohan-Aslatei stated that the new owners “believe in the power of relationship wellness and are focused on helping singles find lasting, healthy relationships”, and that they’re “offering high intent singles a more successful alternative to dating apps”. Alongside this, they also added that the investment group that acquired Three Days Rule is “perfectly positioned to meet the increasing demand for high-quality, personalized matchmaking services.”
This announcement comes at a very appropriate time, given that more and more users are seeking authentic relationship that may require a matchmaker’s touch to properly piece together. With AI matchmaking algorithms still being an open topic of discussion and many users seeking more than the standard dating app experience, a refresh of Three Day Rule that focuses on carefully-coached matches could help it achieve much more prominence in the current dating market.
