TikTok Announces ‘TikTok Live Fest’ Showcase in Las Vegas
TikTok has revealed plans for “TikTok Live Fest”, a live event scheduled for February 12, 2026, at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The event will celebrate the platform’s top LIVE creators and feature high-profile performances, marking a significant push to highlight TikTok LIVE as a talent discovery and entertainment channel.
Hosted by Emmy-winning actress Keke Palmer, the showcase will include a lineup of global creators performing their signature acts on stage. TikTok describes the night as featuring “electrifying musicians to show-stopping dancers” who will deliver “unforgettable LIVE moments.” The program will spotlight winners from recent in-app LIVE competitions across categories such as Power League, Power League Rising Track, Crossover League, Fandom League, Talent League Gaming Track, Talent League Dancing Track, and Talent League Music Track. These competitions reward creators in gaming, music, dance, education, and other niches who have built audiences through live streaming. The event will conclude with a performance by award-winning artist Demi Lovato, who is set to perform some of her biggest hits.
The announcement comes shortly after TikTok secured its continued U.S. operations through the TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC, formed in January 2026 to comply with federal requirements separating U.S. operations from ByteDance. With over 200 million U.S. users and 7.5 million businesses relying on the platform, TikTok is positioning Live Fest as a high-visibility celebration of its creative ecosystem and a demonstration of long-term commitment to the market.
TikTok LIVE has been a major revenue driver in China via Douyin, where live-stream shopping generates billions annually. In Western markets, adoption has been slower, but events like this could help increase engagement with live formats by showcasing real-time talent and interactivity. The Las Vegas production aligns with TikTok’s broader strategy to blend creator amplification, celebrity partnerships, and live experiences to compete with traditional entertainment channels.
