Tinder’s Background Check Partner Shuts Down
Garbo, a nonprofit platform meant for providing background checks and online security measures has ended its partnership with Match Group, Tinder’s parent company – and is shutting down as a whole.
“Over the last few years, we have faced a lack of support and real initiative from online platforms, continuous harassment and threats by bad actors on these platforms,” founder Kathryn Kosmides wrote.
