Betterhalf Launches New Matchmaking Chat Service
Betterhalf, a matrimony and matchmaking platform, is looking to humanise the experience of its Whatsapp services. It created the character of Asha Ji, its ‘Chief Matchmaking Officer’, who users will now be able to interact with over Whatsapp.
Asha Ji, who is portrayed by the face and voice of Indian celebrity Sheeba Chadha, is a Whatsapp service which will converse with users to understand their preferences and suggest life partners. The service is personalised and available 24/7.
Betterhalf is known for harnessing the power of AI to drive its matchmaking. It developed a unique AI algorithm which analysed over 500,000 compatibility use cases in order to recommend potential matches.
The algorithm takes into account a personality test which can be completed by Betterhalf users in order to better understand 16 demographic and behavioural traits. The AI can then match users accordingly.
Betterhalf and the new whatsapp service, will provide opportunities for singles to find love without having to rely on family matchmaking, MediaBrief reports.
