Tinder Shares 4 New Ads Ahead of Dating Sunday
Tinder has extended its ‘It Starts with a Swipe’ campaign with 4 new ads ahead of online dating’s busiest day of the year. The videos focus on varying types of relationships and the new dating milestones that are worth celebrating.
Dating Sunday, the first Sunday of the new year, is known as the busiest day for online daters. There is an 18% rise in ‘Likes’ being sent and a 22% increase in messages exchanged on this particular day, Tinder recorded.
Ahead of this iconic day, Tinder has released 4 new promotional videos that will be shown on connected TV. It is also planning to publish out-of-home ads in the USA, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and Thailand, The Drum reports. Here are these new 4 videos:
- ‘New Last Name’ – Celebrating a relationship becoming more serious
- ‘A Second Wardrobe’ – Recognising the milestone of sharing clothes
- ‘A Goodnight Kiss’ – Sharing how a Tinder date can lead to long term relationships
- ‘All the Best Spots’ – A playful take on partners who know the best date spots
“We’re thrilled to be continuing to build on our brand platform ‘It Starts with a Swipe’ through our third – and possibly best yet – wave of this powerful campaign”, shared Stephanie Danzi, Senior Vice-President of Global Marketing at Tinder.
“Our platform is resonating because it beautifully captures what people love most about Tinder — that Tinder is a place of possibilities, where you can start any kind of connection you want, with all kinds of people. The work reflects the fluidity and diversity of Gen Z relationships, because that’s what Tinder delivers: meaningful connections for all”, she explained.
The new series of videos were created together with creative agency Mischief @ No Fixed Address. Read The Drum’s full report on this new Tinder campaign here.
