Anthropic Identifies Massive Human-Led AI Dating Scam Network
Anthropic has uncovered a large-scale dating app operation in which artificial intelligence was used to create and operate thousands of fake personas, with more than 4,700 AI-generated identities engaging with at least 25,000 people over a two-week period in April 2026.
