HeeSay Unveils ‘COMMUNITY’ Feature to Enhance Interactivity and Deeper Connection
LGBTQ+ social networking and dating app HeeSay has announced the launch of a new ‘COMMUNITY’ feature.
Centred around two standout sections, ‘Hot Picks’ and ‘Group Chat’, the new feature is designed to help users of the app foster more diverse and open-minded online connections in both their dating lives and friendships.
‘Hot Picks’ sees users browse, discover, and sign up for nearby in-person events hosted or co-hosted by HeeSay. A newly-added ‘invitation’ button encourages users to invite friends for shared offline experiences. People can also join a corresponding ‘Group Chat’ based on displayed events, a feature aimed at sharing activity updates and building new relationships and friendships.
Speaking about the new feature, which aims to boost deeper connections and create more vibrant interactions within the LGBTQ+ cohort, a HeeSay spokesperson said: “The group chats in HeeSay Community extend beyond event topics; users can create chats about any interest. They can easily find and join chat rooms via hashtags, making it simple and effective to share and connect.”
“This update underscores our commitment to nurturing an online ‘Community’ for LGBTQ+ individuals. Within the HeeSay Community, they can effortlessly discover nearby offline events and connect with groups that align with their interests, enhancing stronger connections and a greater sense of belonging.”
HeeSay’s new feature arrives as the world celebrates Pride Month and the app has orchestrated various online and offline events. The ‘Lip Sync Battle’ held by HeeSay U.S., inspired by the namesake variety show, has invited renowned drag queens to showcase their talents, with 400 users said to have registered to join the event.
HeeSay is gearing up to enhance its community feature with additional interactive elements, content and sections, aiming to foster an inclusive online space that meets the various social
needs of LGBTQ+ people.
