Matchmaking Firm Dating Options Reports £2.19M Revenue
UK-based personal matchmaking company Dating Options has reported £2.19 million in sales for 2025, highlighting continued demand for offline and human-led dating services amid ongoing scrutiny of dating apps. The figures were disclosed in a company announcement dated January 12, 2026, and reflect a full year of trading across its national matchmaking network.
Dating Options was founded in 2003 by Mike Parker and is now led by Managing Director Andrew Parker-Dennis. The company operates from Warwickshire, near Stratford-upon-Avon, and positions itself as a personal matchmaking service rather than a traditional dating platform. According to the company, it facilitated 2,222 new relationships during 2025 through a model that involves in-person or one-to-one interviews, followed by ongoing support from a dedicated matchmaker.
Unlike app-based dating services that rely heavily on user-driven matching and algorithmic swiping, Dating Options uses a structured intake process and assigns each client a professional matchmaker. Introductions are based on shared values, lifestyle preferences, and long-term goals rather than profile-driven selection. The company says this approach has resonated with singles seeking alternatives to mainstream dating apps.
Commenting on the milestone, founder Mike Parker said: “Reaching in excess of £2 million in sales in a single year is a proud moment for everyone at Dating Options and firmly establishes us as the industry leader. It reflects the trust our clients place in us and the growing demand for meaningful, professional matchmaking in an increasingly digital and impersonal dating landscape.”
The company attributes part of its growth to its emphasis on training and standardisation. All matchmakers complete a formal training programme, and many client packages include coaching services designed to support users throughout the dating process. These services are positioned as complementary to matchmaking rather than optional add-ons.
