Meta Introduces Content Planner and Bulk Reels Upload
Meta has released two new creator tools aimed at simplifying content planning and publishing across Facebook and Instagram.
The first tool is a new Content Planner within Creator Studio on the web. It provides a visual calendar-style overview of scheduled posts, making it easier for creators to identify gaps in their posting schedule and align content with peak audience engagement times. The planner also integrates direct access to performance insights, allowing creators to make data-driven decisions from a single dashboard.
The second update improves the bulk upload feature for Reels. Creators can now upload multiple videos at once, add descriptions, and check for potential copyright issues within a streamlined workflow. This reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks and supports more consistent posting.
These tools arrive as Meta continues rewarding original content. In the second half of 2025, views and time spent watching original Reels on Facebook roughly doubled compared to the same period in 2024. The company has penalized unoriginal content and removed aggregator accounts from recommendations to boost authentic creators.
